The slogan “No War! No KKK! No Fascist USA” was used during the 1980s by the John Brown Anti-Klan Committee and it is a slogan that is broadly used today. The purple dragon signifies the strength of the women’s and LGBTQ movements. “A Warm Welcome to the Moral Majority’s Family Forum” was added to oppose that conference in San Francisco in 1984. Led by Jerry Falwell and Phyllis Schlafly, the conference was anti-abortion, anti-feminist and anti-gay. Among other things Falwell accused gay rights of causing low Scholastic Aptitude Test scores.
